after last week’s upset, hadley had her birthday party on saturday.

the pi ata was beautiful yet deceptively strong!
each girl pulled a cord – but instead of candy treasures pouring out – the whole thing fell from the ceiling!
it took a few parents to wrench it open.

we had a big crowd so i made two cakes.
the pinkest strawberry layer chocolate almond raspberry served both with neopolitan icecream.
